Pierre Saab — Principal/Director
Pierre was admitted to practice in 1996.
Pierre represents corporate and individual clients in business and litigation matters predominantly in the areas of construction law, property law, conveyancing, business law and litigation.
He also regularly appears in the Land & Environment Court representing developers in a range of planning matters.
Pierre represents his clients in complex commercial litigation matters involving equitable relief, breach of contract, tort, property disputes and planning matters. He is also experienced in the appellate jurisdiction of the courts.
Pierre is very experienced in all areas of construction law, including extensive work in the litigation of building defect disputes. He is also engaged in all property law matters involving complex real property acquisitions and joint ventures.
He is actively involved in providing strategic advice to corporate clients on corporate formation, structuring, asset protection and other commercial issues.
Other than his legal qualifications and associated legal memberships, Pierre also holds an Economics Degree from the University of Sydney and is a member of the Environmental Planning Law Association.
Charbel Ayoub — Solicitor
Charbel was admitted to Practice in 2006.
Charbel commenced at Macquarie Lawyers in January 2015 having been the Head of Property at Francom Legal.
Charbel represents corporate and individual clients in business and litigation matters predominantly in the areas of construction law, property law (including commercial property), conveyancing and business law.
Charbel also acts for a range of property developers in the development and sale of medium density residential and commercial developments.
Charbel also has extensive experience in Wills and Probate. He is experienced in the drafting of Wills and Power of Attorneys and the granting and administration of estates, with a special interest in the litigation of matters involving contested Wills and Family Provision issues, including the litigation of matters in the appellant jurisdiction of the Supreme Court.
In addition to holding degrees in Commerce and Law, Charbel holds a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice and a Graduate Diploma in Education.
Charbel is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of NSW and the High Court of Australia.
Claudette Noble — Practice Manager
Claudette holds a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Law Degree from the University of Sydney.
Since her graduation in 1988, Claudette has worked as a manager in a number of corporate environments and brings a broad range of experience to all areas of the management of the Macquarie practice.
Claudette has been part of the Macquarie team since 2002 and has extensive experience in trust and general accounting and the sound management of people. She is responsible for the implementation and constant refinement of our legal systems which allow our clients the efficient and personal service that they have come to expect as part of being a member of the Macquarie Family.
Claudette is currently finalising our submissions for the firm’s ISO 9000 accreditation as a best practice firm.
Claudette is also on the board of the Baulkham Hills Shire Netball Association Ltd and combines her efficiency with her love of the netball game.
Reeta Khoury — Paralegal
Reeta is a qualified Paralegal with an in-depth knowledge in many areas of law, predominantly in the areas of commercial litigation, construction law and property law. Reeta provides a high level of legal support to the firm’s legal practitioners and clients. Reeta is an extremely dedicated individual with a passionate approach to everything she does.
Reeta is an intrinsic part of the Macquarie Lawyers team. Reeta also holds a Diploma in Business Management.
On a personal note, Reeta loves chocolate, enjoys drag racing and is a crew member of the Khoury Racing Team. She is also a member of the Parramatta PCYC where she enjoys working out with her personal trainer.
